Dr. Leonhardt has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and has completed her fellowship in integrative medicine. Dr. Leonhardt worked in the emergency room for over 15 years before changing her practice to functional medicine. She has been studying the causes of hair loss for almost 10 years. She has been the medical director of Hair Growth MD since its inception. She is a national speaker on topics such as thyroid, diabetes, hair loss, hormones, nutrition, and stem cells. Dr. Leonhardt also teaches at the LECOM School of Osteopathic Medicine and lectures residents at several local hospitals.
